Welcome to the Wednesday Night Men's Golf League at Rolling Hills Country Club.
Format: Twosome team, handicapped, better ball competition. The maximum handicap used for 9 holes will be 18. Post 3 scores on your scorecard:
your individual gross score per hole.
your partner's gross score per hole.
a score that consists of your team's low ball per hole, with handicap (net), if you're sure of handicapping.
Team points are awarded each week, by your team's placement against the rest of the league. Example for 20 teams: 1st place = 20 points, 20th place = 1 point. Ties will split points. All teams will receive cash awards at the end of the year tiered by points earned.
There will be a yearly individual competition as well. Each week we will award points for the top 10 low individual net scores. 1st place = 10 points,
10 th place = 1 point. At the end of the year, the top 2 point getters will receive awards. To qualify your individual net score you must complete each hole that week. If you pick up or take an X, then you cannot qualify your individual score for points that week.
If you don't turn in a score card to the league secretary, no points will be awarded to you.
Schedule:
The league will begin 23 weeks of play on April 27 th with a warm up night.

June 29th will be the 4-man “Easy course / Red Tees Scramble”(No Points). Pick your own 4-some, cash prize for 1 st place team!

Those teams posting 20 scores for the year will be able to throw out their three worst weeks. Each team's top 17 scores will go towards your yearly total. If you only played 17 weeks, then all 17 of your weekly scores will count. If you play 18 weeks, you will be allowed to throw out one score.
Rain outs will reduce the number of scores used. |
